Our mission is to educate and empower students through exploration, preparation, and application of skills and experiences to meet their definition of career and life success.

To accomplish this, the Career Center guides students through four key phases of career development; each designed to meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence:

  • Explore –Consider potential career fields, research the required education, skills, and experiences, speak with professionals, and confirm your major aligns with your interests.
  • Prepare –Actively identify relevant experiences (like internships or volunteer work) you want to pursue, update your resume, practice interviewing, and learn how to search for opportunities.
  • Experience –Engage in experiential learning opportunities such as internships, jobs, or volunteer work to gain relevant skills and practical experience in your career field.
  • Connect –Reflect on and articulate how your skills, accomplishments, and experiences align with your post-graduation plans and leverage your network to secure opportunities.

Use our 11-question quiz to see where you are on your career development journey. If you answer “no” to any question, we’ll guide you to resources and action steps to help you move forward.
