Job Summary
The Recreational Sports Program is comprised of undergraduate students and professional interns that provide recreational opportunities for students to participate in while pursuing their educational endeavors. Student workers must be committed to maintaining a high level of performance on the job as well as adhere to a disciplinary code for the office and organization. Lifeguards work up to 15 hours per week, including nights and weekends. They report to the Professional Intern for CORE and the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation.
Basic Qualifications
Be a full time Edinboro University Student (minimum of 12 credits)
Maintain a 2.0 GPA (overall/cumulative)
Be in good judicial standing with the university upon application
Present a well-mannered and professional image
Possess an extensive knowledge of campus programming
First Aid/CPR/AED/Lifeguard certified
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintaining weekly pool hours
Attending all staff meetings as called and fall training (week before school starts in August)
Maintaining the office and all equipment
Reporting all pool violations to the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation
Working with the marketing chair to promote all events
Keeping all files and equipment up to date and inventoried
All other duties as assigned

Hours
Hours will be scheduled by the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation and are limited to 15 hours per week. Early morning, late mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends may be required.
Pay Rate
Employees will be paid $7.25 per hour.
