Job Duties:
Serve as a critical role as a paraprofessional, working with and supervised by the Director of Health Services. Assist in the planning, organization, and delivery of community outreach services. Assess community needs and coordinate outreach services to community residents, working closely with the Boro Manager. Collaborate with the community food pantry at Lawrence Towers, Thrifty Threads, and the local RAKE event. Responsible for monitoring food and toiletry inventory, keeping electronic documentation, organize, gather and deliver all orders for the Ghering Food Pantry. Serve as a mentor and oversee work and schedules for undergraduate student employees at community volunteer sites. Communicate with campus clubs/organizations and community vendors for the Annual Health Fair event. Serve as a member of the Wellness Task Force. Other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Must be prompt, courteous, efficient and well organized, and willing to potentially work weekends and evenings. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Comfortable working in group settings and alone. Maintain professional demeanor while working for the office.
