Details/Requirements:
- This is an anticipated opening, with position and compensation pending funding and approval.
- Non-Pennsylvania residents need to be enrolled in a program offered on campus to qualify for a Graduate Assistantship position
- International students need to meet the requirements for employment in the U.S. and be enrolled in a program offered on campus to qualify for a Graduate Assistantship position
- Position will be filled at the home campus of the selected applicant
- Remote or hybrid work may be available
- Applicants must be available for both the Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 semesters.
- This position works approximately 20 hours per week during the academic year and hours are scheduled between 8 am-4 pm Monday through Friday.

The Graduate Peer Career Coach will:
- Support Career Coaches by meeting with students to provide basic career services to students across all PennWest campuses via Zoom and in-person appointments, emails, and through online resources. Appointment topics may include exploring majors/careers, writing resumes and cover letters, searching for internships/jobs, and practicing/preparing for interviews.
- Provide students with information about resources to help prepare students for appointments with Career Coaches.
- Promote the Career Center and present career resources (e.g. Overview of Services, Resumes, Cover Letters, etc.) to students in classes and/or in clubs/organizations.
- Assist with events and activities, such as practice interview sessions, employer events, admissions events, and New Student Orientation sessions.
- Assist with general office duties including providing customer service and monitoring emails, as necessary and able.
- Special projects may include assisting with course assignments, marketing emails, and social media posts.
