Center for Student Outreach and Success Coaching
*Training will take place prior to the semester*
The Student Success Center will be hiring Graduate Assistants for the 2025-2026 academic year. The Center for Success Coaching is a centralized campus academic resource for ALL students. .
Schedule:
- 300 hours for the term
- Hours must be completed in the physical office between Monday-Thursday 10 am-6 pm and Fridays 9 am-1pm. This is not an on-line position.

Tasks:
· Aid with weekly contact for all students in success coaching programs to provide one-on-one academic support.
· Record daily student notes using Starfish documenting progress/concerns and attendance. (Training on Starfish will be provided.)
· Prepare for the upcoming academic year by updating workshop information, dates, forms, announcements, events calendar, communications, and marketing materials.
· Aid with events as needed by presenting workshops, creating, and distributing marketing materials, leading student groups.
· Research, develop and update content for our Center for Success Coaching programs.
· Develop various media/technology resources for presentation of workshops.
· Create videos for social media accounts to post for the upcoming academic year.
· Present and prepare workshops for the campus community featuring a variety of campus resources.
· Set up appointments, contact and aid students via Starfish
· Connect and coordinate on-line and on-campus students with the proper support services.
· Aid with hands-on presentations, demonstrations, training sessions and a variety of workshops and informational at events.
· Respond appropriately to student crisis situations when necessary.
· Compile survey results.
· Weekly updates of student caseload during staff meetings–Mandatory
· 2 unexcused misses of shifts result in termination of position
· Present on trending topics in student success to GA staff
· OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
