Create Job Search Documents

Resumes, cover letters, and portfolios are important tools in your job search, and can make or break a job application. Let us show you how to craft job search documents that will help you secure an interview!

Prior to scheduling a resume review appointment with the Career Center staff students must:

  1. Review the Resume Guide and Resume Video below and other content on this page.
  2. Use our resources to write or update an existing draft of your resume.
  3. Once you have a current draft, schedule an appointment in Handshake for a resume review with Career Center staff.
  4. Career Center staff will review your resume using the checklist below.

Students who do not follow our guide to create/update a draft prior to their appointment will be asked to reschedule their appointment.
Alumni who would like resume assistance can use the guide as a self-serve resource.
