Create a Handshake Account and Post Jobs & Internships
Handshake is PennWest’s online recruiting system. Many universities in Pennsylvania and nationally use Handshake, which makes it easy for you to post an opportunity only once and send it to any schools that use Handshake for free.
Employers can use Handshake to:
- Post jobs and internships for targeted groups of students or alumni
- Review candidate application materials
- Request interviews and information sessions
Once you have posted your position openings, let us know and we can spread the word!
Host Interns
Our students are eager to apply their skills to benefit your organization through internships. You get motivated students to fulfill your short-term employment needs and projects, and you will have the opportunity to “test out” and recruit students for your future full-time positions.

Schedule Campus or Virtual Recruitment
PennWest hosts and participates in a variety of career fairs, networking events, employer information sessions, and recruiting opportunities throughout the academic year. These events provide employers with valuable opportunities to connect with students and alumni across a wide range of academic programs and career interests.
