Faith Smith, PennWest University – Clarion Campus
Faith Smith ’24 graduated from Pennsylvania Western University – Clarion, where she majored in Secondary Education with a focus on English. Faith’s dedication to the field of education originates from profound experiences throughout her student teaching, where she witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of effective teaching on students’ lives. Throughout Faith’s undergraduate journey, she actively engaged in campus life, participating in organizations such as the National Panhellenic Council, Sigma Tau Delta, and English Club. Additionally, she spent her time providing free after-school tutoring in a rural area lacking adequate literacy programs. Post-graduation, Faith aspires to have her own classroom and continue contributing to the community by becoming an invaluable asset to a school district.
